The cottage offers about 1200 square feet of restful & creative space. The maximum occupancy provided for is Two people. A large comfortable master bedroom with a cozy Cal King Size bed is located on the Second Floor which overlooks a large Magnolia tree and lush giant Hapu'u tree ferns. There is also a nice smaller sitting room upstairs. The first floor is a high clear two story room with a cozy gas fireplace for our cool evenings. |  |

There is a nicely arranged & well equipped kitchen and tiled Island area. A private open air deck is nestled in a secluded rainforest with Magnolias, Camelias and a Host of Other Native Plants and Native Songbirds. The cottage is vintage 1940 Hawaii and has been endowed with an eclectic blend of materials in a Victorian Deco manner. The home is about One mile from Volcanoes National Park and is at the cool 4000 foot elevation. The village is wonderfully located about thirty miles South of Hilo & also about 30 miles North of South Point. Wireless Internet is included. |
